Job Details
- Greet customers and escort them to tables.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about menu items.
- Make recommendations for food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals.
- Remove finished plates and silverware.
- Present checks and process payments (cash, card, etc.) accurately.
- Clear and reset tables for the next guests.
- Communicate orders clearly with kitchen and bar staff.
- Coordinate with other servers and staff to ensure smooth service.
- Inform the kitchen of any food allergies or special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Perform side work, such as rolling silverware and polishing glasses.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
- Get management involved when necessary to resolve issues.
