Pizzeria da Laura is looking for a part time cashier with potential for full time hours. We are a full service restaurant with a market next door. The Mercatino located right next to the restaurant is our Togo and retail side where we offer a variety of slices. The cashier is responsible for coordinating all take out and delivery orders so great communication is key! In our Mercatino we have a retail market as well as serve slices of our New York and Sicilian pizzas. The cashier also is responsible for cooking and reheating slices. We are located right in the heart of Downtown Berkeley close by to 4 live music venues so slices can be quite popular on concert days keeping the Mercatino quite active. The dine in and takeout areas operate in tandem so good communication between the staff and customers is key. The primary shifts we are looking for are Wednesday and Thursday 11am-4pm, and Friday 4pm-9:30pm. There is always opportunity to learn other positions and grow within the company as well as increase to full time hours. No experience required.
