Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Assistant to the Director of Operations to support the smooth execution of restaurant initiatives. This role will focus on special events planning and day-of execution, inventory tracking, menu creation and design, and various administrative projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Assist with planning and coordination of restaurant events, private dining, and special promotions.
  • Support day-of event execution, including setup, guest/vendor coordination, and on-site logistics.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.

Inventory & Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update inventory records for the beverage program
  • Provide administrative support, including email correspondence, recordkeeping, and document organization.
  • Update, proofread, and print menus for seasonal changes and special events. Ensure accuracy and consistency across all menu formats.
  • Assist with special projects and operational tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Digital Marketing Support 

  • Coordinate photoshoots with the restaurant’s PR company and ensure all needs are met.
  • Correspond with Digital Marketing teams when needed to provide information, approvals, or content.
  • Compile, organize, and maintain archives of menus, photos, press clippings, and event records.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, InDesign, or similar tools (basic design skills a plus).
Hospitality or events experience preferred.
