Job Summary

We’re hiring experienced Line Cooks / Food Prep Staff to prepare high-quality Mediterranean dishes and keep our kitchen running smoothly. From marinating meats and chopping fresh ingredients to cooking shawarma and assembling meals, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering the flavors Hello Shawarma is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, marinate, season, and cook meats and vegetables following company recipes and standards.
  • Assemble menu items (shawarma plates, wraps, bowls, sides, etc.) with consistent quality and presentation.
  • Perform daily food preparation tasks such as chopping produce, portioning ingredients, and stocking the line.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly (grills, fryers, ovens, knives, etc.).
  • Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Restock, rotate, and check inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties and support the team during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous line cook or food preparation experience is REQUIRED.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
