Job Summary:
FUMO Restaurants are energetic neighborhood staples, serving fresh versions of the Italian classics and great vibes. We are looking for a responsible, dynamic, and customer-focused Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy UWS restaurant. You will ensure smooth service, support front and back of house staff, and deliver excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff during shifts

Greet and interact with guests, touching tables to ensure satisfaction

Handle customer complaints or issues promptly

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, maintaining Health Department standards at all times

Monitor table turnover and seating arrangements

Assist with training and onboarding of new staff

Support the overall operation and communicate with kitchen and bar teams

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:

2 years previous experience in restaurant management

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
