WHO WE ARE:
Petit Trois Highland is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team. We are a fast-paced, French-style bistro searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals with a passion for food and wine, who thrive in a team-oriented restaurant environment.
Must have open or very flexible availability - brunch / lunch / dinner !
JOB DETAILS:
- Maintain a clean and organized service station & expo / pass fully stocked with takeout containers and service items (napkins, utensils, towels, china). Communicating with management if any of these items is low or missing.
- Move with urgency to pre-bus, bus, wipe and reset tables throughout the dining room
- Communicate with hosts, managers and expo constantly
- Provide a friendly and hospitable first impression to all guests. Warmly greet every guest that walks in the door and say goodbye to everyone that leaves. Acknowledge and learn names of regulars, our neighbors, and friends of the restaurant.
- Able to thoughtfully describe all menu items and be aware of available modifications and possible allergens in each dish, and using this knowledge to provide suggestions to guests.
- Respect everyone in the building - maintaining cleanliness, acknowledging all employees, using respectful language, dressing appropriately and working with everyone else in the building to be helpful. Maintaining a positive attitude is important every day.
- Respect the facility - pick up trash, clean up after yourself, take the initiative to clean, finish your sidework, letting managers know if anything is in disrepair.
- Run food or drinks, assist in pre-bussing tables, sweep floors, help teammates in the FOH or BOH, being present and aware in order to assist with any spills or special requests.
- Bathroom checks / cleaning / stocking
- Dining room & patio set up
- Execution of weekly cleaning tasks
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.87) plus tips
