Garde Manger

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Garde Manger to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for executing all cold kitchen preparations with consistency, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is organized, passionate about their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing and finishing all cold menu items

• Accurately handling food items to minimize waste

• Ability to learn, understand, and to execute daily recipes and menus

• Preparing mise en place for daily service

• Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties

• Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn

• Upholding service preparation and culinary standards to ensure a memorable guest experience

• Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values

• Participating in service/culinary education sessions

• Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment 

Qualifications & Disposition

• 1–2+ years’ experience on Garde Manger (or equivalent fine/casual-fine kitchen experience)

• Must be available to work evening shifts
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and knife handling

• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills

• Calm under pressure; team-first attitude; reliable and punctual

• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly.

• Requires fast-paced movements and occasional environmental exposure to cold, heat, and water.

• Must be able to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.
