We are a high-volume Itlian restaurant with a focus on quality, consistency, and strong culinary technique. Our kitchen culture is fast-paced, organized, and team-oriented. We are looking for a dedicated Pasta Cook who takes pride in precision, cleanliness, and executing food at a high level.
Position OverviewThe Pasta Line Cook is responsible for executing pasta dishes during service, managing station prep, and maintaining high standards of timing, texture, and consistency. This position requires strong technique, excellent organization, and the ability to handle pressure during peak hours.
Key Responsibilities-
Cook and execute all pasta dishes to restaurant standards

Prepare fresh and dried pasta items, sauces, garnishes, and mise en place

Manage station setup, organization, and cleanliness throughout the shift

Maintain proper pasta cooking times, texture, and seasoning

Work closely with the Chef and Sous Chef to ensure consistency

Follow recipes, prep guides, and station production lists

Communicate with expo and other line cooks to ensure smooth service

Properly label, store, and rotate all products (FIFO)

Maintain DOH standards, sanitation, and food safety procedures

Assist with prep shifts as needed (sauces, stocks, pasta batches, etc.)

1–2 years experience in a high-volume or scratch kitchen; pasta experience preferred

Strong knife skills and understanding of station organization

Ability to multitask, move quickly, and execute during high-volume service

Knowledge of fresh pasta, boiling/cooking techniques, and sauce work a plus

Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate is a plus

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00)
