Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at Matilda. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining Exodo’s high standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities-
Support the GM in daily front-of-house operations and team supervision.

Ensure that all staff follow company policies, training standards, and service steps.

Assist with hiring, training, and performance management.

Manage reservations, floor service, and guest interactions with professionalism and warmth.

Oversee opening and closing procedures, shift reports, and cash handling.

Collaborate with the Chef and Beverage teams to uphold menu quality and consistency.

Support marketing initiatives, events, and review management to drive engagement.

Uphold Exodo’s brand culture and ensure a positive, team-driven work environment.

2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Passion for hospitality, guest service, and team development.

Familiarity with systems such as Toast, OpenTable, and Sling is a plus.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
