Bartender / Mixologist – Friends Sushi Izakaya (Chicago, IL)

Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve cocktails, sake, beer, and wine according to recipes and presentation standards.

• Develop new and innovative drinks inspired by Japanese flavors and seasonal ingredients.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.

• Engage with guests to provide exceptional service and enhance their dining experience.

• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.

• Follow all safety and alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of bartending or mixology experience (restaurant or cocktail bar preferred).

• Strong knowledge of spirits, sake, and cocktail techniques.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, social environment.

• Creative, professional, and team-oriented.

• Must be 21+ and have BASSET certification.
