Sapori Trattoria is a beloved neighborhood Italian restaurant in Lincoln Park, known for its warm hospitality, rustic charm, and consistently excellent cuisine. Serving over 1,500 guests weekly, we take pride in creating memorable dining experiences that feel like coming home to Italy.

Position Summary:

• We are looking for a welcoming and friendly person to join our host team at Sapori Trattoria.  Experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Manage nightly reservations, walk-ins, and VIP guests.

• Maintain excellent communication with the management and service teams.

• Greet and engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.

• Handle guest requests, special occasions, and feedback with care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as Host, or Front Desk Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $16–$20 per hour (based on experience)
