Floor Manager

Greywind is in search of a dedicated and outgoing Floor Manager to curate the guest experience and help lead our service team! 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the management team of award-winning Chef Dan Kluger at our location in Hudson Yards.

• Greywind - Greenmarket-driven restaurant with American cuisine featuring seasonal, local ingredients at the forefront creating a playful, modern take on recognizable dishes using bold, unexpected flavors.
• The Bakery at Greywind - An all day bakery featuring a seasonal selection of housemade breads, baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, tea, salads and sandwiches.
• Spygold – An intimate, firelit cocktail bar featuring modern versions of classic favorites highlighting seasonal ingredients and local, artisanal spirits.

The Role:

As the Floor Manager, you will primarily be responsible for providing a managerial presence on the restaurant floor during service.  The Floor Manager will support the FOH management team to ensure line staff perform as required to create an enjoyable, casual dining experience for guests while maintaining high standards of service.

The Floor Manager will also assist the Food & Beverage Director with the administration of day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including implementing and ensuring adherence to company policies and completing special projects.

Learning Requirement

• We require you to hold the Food Protection certification from NYC DOH, if you are already certified please bring in your certification for our records. If not, we ask that you enroll and take this course in the first 30 days of employment. Please let us know if you already have this.
