Floor Manager

Borgo, a celebrated Mediterranean trattoria from The Marlow Collective, is seeking a Floor Manager. We are looking for candidates with open availability for a full time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business goals and drive growth.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to meet budgeted sales and labor costs; monitor productivity and manage timekeeping.
• Lead and support the FOH team, ensuring high service standards through training, mentorship, and performance management.
• Manage inventory and ordering for bar essentials, paper goods, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Help develop systems that improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and support team development.
• Recruit, train, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of inclusion and accountability.
• Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, and business planning sessions.

Successful candidates will: 

• Have 1 year of progressive hospitality experience and a commitment to deepening that knowledge base
• Be oriented towards detail, care, and collaboration
• Be reliable, focused, organized, communicative, and
• Be able to self-manage as well as be managed
• A demonstrably positive and friendly demeanor
• A natural inclination towards leadership and team-oriented skills

While performing the duties of the job, a Floor Manager is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
