Affiliated with STARR Restaurants and located inside the New York EDITION, The Clocktower serves modern cuisine with a palpable U.K. sensibility. Featuring three intimate dining rooms, a lively bar, and a sophisticated setting for private events, The Clocktower offers a refined yet welcoming blend of elegance and comfort. The menu celebrates British-inspired fare with contemporary finesse, complemented by an award-winning wine list showcasing thoughtful selections from both Old and New World producers.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our team! This role works closely with Executive Chef Sarah Ravitz, whose leadership and culinary perspective are informed by her experience at minibar by José Andrés (2 Michelin stars), Shilling Canning Company, and a track record of excellence in high-performance kitchens.

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

  • A base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000
  • Quarterly bonus program

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of culinary management experience in a reputable restaurant
  • Dedication to culinary excellence, team success, and growth
  • An intimate understanding of ingredients and techniques pertaining to Modern European and American cuisines
  • Basic understanding of administrative tasks including inventory, purchasing, scheduling
  • Desire to learn from our culinary leaders and develop professionally and personally

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $85,000.00)
