Job Details

Deda Restaurant, operated by Megobari Group, LLC, is a modern Georgian restaurant, with concept of blending authentic flavors, refined presentation, and exceptional hospitality. We are dedicated to delivering a distinctive culinary experience built on creativity, consistency, and teamwork.

We are currently seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team, oversee all kitchen operations, and ensure that every dish reflects the quality and passion that define Deda Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service execution.
  • Develop and maintain seasonal menus that reflect both the restaurant’s vision and market trends.
  • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control of all dishes.
  • Oversee food cost, labor cost, and inventory control in alignment with budget goals.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff while fostering a positive, respectful, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with California regulations.
  • Collaborate with ownership and management teams on culinary direction, special events, and menu development.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage purchasing for optimal product quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse kitchen team.
  • Strong knowledge of food cost management, menu engineering, and inventory systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of modern culinary techniques and international cuisine — Georgian cuisine experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary: $95000– $120,000, depending on experience.
