The Role

Serve and prepare all daily hot and cold coffee/tea specialties related to the Zero Bond coffee program.

The Responsibilities 

• Support operations by running a smooth service adhering to coffee program timing standards 
• Be knowledgeable about coffee, and creating a warm hospitality experience 
• Prepare, set-up,break down, properly clean, and store all machine at the start end of service 
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area in line with New York State Department of Health Standards
• Maintain all equipment in proper working order
• Maintain a full inventory, as well as liaising orders with the management team for pars
• Support the service team as needed
• Must be well groomed and adhere to the Zero Bond uniform requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications & Disposition

• Must have a minimum 1 year experience
• Must be able to work mornings.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Point of Service systems.
• Passion for food and beverage operations
• Knowledge of preparation techniques and equipment, types of coffee beans, recipes, latte art
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanour at all times

• Flexible schedule based on the needs of Zero Bond, their programing, and peak times
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours
• Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others
• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift of up to 50 pounds on occasion and 35 pounds regularly 
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
