Bartender

Smoke Jazz Club is looking for a bartender. Speed, accuracy, and the ability to stay calm with high volume service necessary!  Experience with a pre-theater style of service is a plus!
Applicants must be available to work throughout the month of December, our busiest time.

Bartender Experience 

• A minimum 2 years of experience in a high volume environment.
• Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays.
• Strong knowledge in food, wine, and spirits.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and stay calm and focused.
• Good communication skills - we work as a team here, and we are nice. Please be nice, too.
• A friendly and outgoing demeanor that makes guests feel welcome.
• Basic POS Skills 
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• A flexible schedule.  We appreciate work-life balance, but we also have longer shifts on the weekends and are open for holidays.
• A professional attitude and a polished appearance.
• Food Handler's License and ServSafe a plus!

In addition, all employees must be the legal age to serve liquor!
