Line Cook

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team at a high-volume Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for Italian cuisine, and works well under pressure while maintaining top-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each shift.

• Ensure consistency in food presentation, portioning, and quality.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.

• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and assist where needed during service.

• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to kitchen management.

• Support the team during busy hours to ensure timely service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook, preferably in an Italian or high-volume restaurant.

• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Culinary training is a plus but not required.
