Job Details

We are seeking an enthusiastic  Events Coordinator to join our dynamic restaurant group. 

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

Assist Event Manager and Director of Events with handling of large parties and events, event systems, event office operations or any other function related to the events department as directed: 

  • Respond to event inquiries, often managing more than one inbox
  • Maintain events calendar in Tripleseat
  • Coordinate client needs with operational team
  • Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, floor plans, diagrams and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Manage Resy reservation system including initial inputting of parties monthly & daily updating of PDR guest counts and any other necessary details
  • Follow up with clients to obtain menu/wine selections and final details
  • Create event menus in InDesign, print and hand deliver to properties, if necessary
  • Occasionally conduct site visits, assist with event setup on-site and/or greet clients on-site
  • Update and maintain event meeting agenda/sales spreadsheets
  • Update and maintain menus items, pricing and other details in Tripleseat
  • Conduct market research

Assist Event Manager and Director of Events in administration of marketing tasks:

  • Update and maintain menus, hours of operation, private event information on website
  • Manage merchandise store on website
  • Maintain merchandise inventory & fulfill orders
  • Assist in creation of content for eblasts
  • Maintain contact pipeline lists
  • Client gifting

Required Skill/Abilities:
  • 1 year of experience in catering, events or high-volume/multi property reservations
  • Genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality!
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong telephone etiquette, specifically in tone of voice, listening and understanding client’s needs, recording all pertinent data
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)
  • Strong knowledge of Resy or OpenTable
  • Knowledge of Tripleseat a plus but not required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign / Adobe Illustrator
Education & Expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • At least one year handling of large parties and events, event systems, event office operations or any other function related to the events department as directed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing or walking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
