Monkey Bar, a part of Hogsalt, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full Time Host to join our team!

Experience & Qualifications:

1 year of hosting experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.

Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.

Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs, and stooping.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties.

Manage all aspects of reservation systems: confirmation messages, checking in guests, special requests and celebrations, table plotting, updating floorplans, etc.

Lead guests to tables and follow Hogsalt standards for seating, distributing menus, and creating a great first impression at the table.

Anticipate the needs of guests and provide consistent, genuine, and generous service; create personal connections and use names whenever possible.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining room throughout service, including proper maintenance of all menus and other supplies.

Provide a warm welcome to each guest who enters the restaurant and acknowledge their departure at the end of their experience.

Address any guest needs or concerns as soon as possible; communicate any complaints or issues with food or service to leadership.

Complete all closing duties including closing sidework, general cleaning projects, and any additional tasks assigned by leadership.

Ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service not listed above are properly executed.
