Un je ne sais Quoi..., French pastry shop, is looking for Sales Assistants / Baristas for
duties and responsibilities
• Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders
• Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
• Preparing and serving food items
• Answering customers’ questions about menu choices
• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
• Receiving and processing payments
• Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning and communicating on troubleshootings with Managers
• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
• Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g.dairy and allergies)
• Preparing beverages following recipes
• Serving beverages and prepared food
• Keep the counter area clean
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Maintaining stock of retail items and alerting managers if something is missing
• Checking if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Complying with health and safety regulations
• Communicating customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

• Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
• Focus on customer satisfaction
• Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
• Be efficient and organized

• Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime
requirements
• Previous work experience as a Barista is a plus
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Basic math skills
• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
