Counter Person: Fishtown Location
We are looking for a person to join our team at our Fishtown homestead! An appreciation for hoagies and tomato pie isn’t mandatory, but is a plus.
Liberty Kitchen is a hoagie shop and market with locations in Fishtown, University City and Chestnut Hill. This position is perfect for a Front of House Professional/Server/Barista with experience in customer service.
**MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING AVAILABILITY:
MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS**
Experience/Prerequisites:
- Candidate must have prior experience in a restaurant/food service establishment in the front of house (server, cashier, counter, barista)
- Ability to follow directions and communicate clearly with customers both in person, over the phone and via email.
- Must be a team player and a good communicator.
- Experience with Toast PoS is preferred but not required
Job Description:
- Responsible for ensuring customers receive service with a smile and maintain a positive environment in the dining room.
- Must have the ability to multi-task. This position involves working the front register, answering the phones and dealing directly with customers when serving their food/taking payment/answering questions on the menu
- Looking for a reliable and dependable worker who is looking to work 4 days per week.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room and outdoor seating on a daily basis.
- Opening/closing the cash drawer on a daily basis
Compensation/Hours/Benefits:
Starting wage is $15 per hour plus tips guaranteed at $20 per hour total. After 6 months of full time employment, employee is eligible for PTO of 5 days. After 1 year of employment employee is eligible for 10 days PTO. We offer staff meal for every shift. We are open 10AM - 5PM daily.
