Hostess

As a Hostess at VERDE NYC, you play a key role in delivering an outstanding first impression that reflects our brand’s creativity, quality, and energy. You will ensure guests feel welcomed, attended to, and leave with a memorable impression of our hospitality. You’ll join a dynamic team where your personality, service skills, and passion for hospitality shine.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, courteously, and professionally

• Manage reservations, seating, and waiting lists efficiently

• Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area

• Coordinate with the service team to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Assist in training and supporting new host staff

• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hospitality, front-of-house, or customer service roles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to guests

• Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a passion for delivering excellence

• Knowledge of hospitality standards is a plus

Compensation:

• $18–$20/hour + tips
