Maison Tara is seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Prep Cook to join our production team. The Prep Cook plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of our catering kitchen — preparing ingredients, assembling menu components, and ensuring that every event is executed to Maison Tara’s high standards of quality and presentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate cook to gain experience in a professional catering environment, working alongside a talented culinary team that values teamwork, artistry, and excellence.

• Execute daily prep lists, including washing, chopping, portioning, and labeling ingredients.

• Assist in the production of canapés, hors d’oeuvres, sauces, and event components.

• Follow recipes and directions from chefs with consistency and attention to detail.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols at all times.

• Support kitchen team with packing, loading, and on-site setup when needed.

• Communicate effectively with chefs and teammates to meet event deadlines.

• 1–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen (catering, restaurant, or hotel).

• Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques.

• High attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Team-oriented attitude and respect for the craft of cooking.
