Nowon delivers a lively Korean-American dining experience, blending bold Korean flavors with New York influences. Chef Jae’s signature dishes—like the Legendary Cheeseburger and Chopped Cheese Rice Cakes—have earned wide acclaim, while the nostalgic 90s/2000s hip-hop atmosphere creates an unforgettable vibe to match the food.
We are looking for a team member who is passionate and dedicated to hospitality & service. The following are responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Welcome guests to the restaurant
- Provide wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas (hopefully soon!)
- Provide menus
- Greet guests upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options, protocol, guests notes, allergy notes, etc
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address guests’ queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($14.00) plus tips
