Gjelina Restaurant in Noho on Bond St. is seeking an experienced Server to join our dynamic team!

Position Summary:
As a server at Gjelina NYC, you are a key part of delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be the main point of contact for guests, providing high-quality service with a fine dining approach and extensive food and beverage knowledge. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Essential Duties:
- Greet guests, take orders, and ensure efficient service.
- Maintain knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including allergens and pairings.
- Handle guest interactions with professionalism and grace.
- Keep server stations organized and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Attend training and stay up-to-date with menu changes.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have 2 years of service experience in a high volume/upscale environment
- Have worked with a progressive wine program and passionate about small producers
- Depth of knowledge in classic and craft cocktails
- Understands the difference between being a leader vs an order taker
- Enjoys education and sharing.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility with work schedules, including nights and weekends.
Physical Demands:

Stand, lift, bend, and walk for long periods (8-12 hours).
