Floor Manager

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Floor Manager to join the leadership team at a newly opened, high-volume casual–upscale restaurant. The ideal candidate is a dynamic hospitality professional who leads by example, inspires excellence, and ensures every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience.
This position is central to delivering exceptional guest service, mentoring a motivated front-of-house team, and maintaining smooth, efficient operations during every shift.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily floor operations to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture.

Manage table assignments, pacing, and service flow during peak hours.

Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and timing.

Maintain an active presence on the floor, addressing guest concerns promptly and graciously.

Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and providing constructive performance feedback.

Uphold service standards, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of floor or front-of-house management experience in a high-volume restaurant.

Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative, hands-on management style.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent guest relations and conflict-resolution abilities.

Working knowledge of food, wine, and craft cocktails preferred.
