Work for a team that cares about the details! Ethel’s Fancy is looking for someone to fill our Expeditor role for the restaurant. We have a full time position available Tuesdays-Saturday for our dinner service.
Ethel’s Fancy is a Michelin recommended modern Californian restaurant in downtown Palo Alto, known for its fun, eclectic, and inventive menu with French and Japanese influences. We are ambitious in building a unique dining experience and bringing to our guests a fine dining experience in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

We are looking for an individual who has the following qualities and skills:
- Punctual and reliable
- Stays calm under pressure and enjoys “organized chaos”
- Ability to communicate succinctly and respectfully
- Strong desire to make our guests feel welcome
- Positive and respectful attitude
- Happy energy
While prior experience in a fine dining establishment is preferred, it is not essential as we committed to teaching someone who brings the right attitude. Building a strong group of energetic and positive individuals is more important to us than experience.
