Position Overview:
We’re seeking hospitality-forward Food Runners to join our team. This position is essential to both guest service and team support. The Food Runner provides warm, welcoming experiences and guides guests through our food menus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide genuine and professional hospitality at all times.
- Communicate between bar, kitchen, service team and leadership to ensure a consistent, timely and memorable experience for our guests.
- Follow steps of service with an eye for detail and heart of hospitality.
- Anticipate guest needs and address them promptly.
- Run all food in a timely manner to the correct table/guest with proper drop phrases.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of our food menu and concept.
- Set-up and keep Expo/Runner station stocked, clean, and organized.
- Understand and navigate the restaurant floor plan.
- Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties to our standards.
- Perform duties as assigned by leadership in order to drive and maintain our passion for hospitality, quality food and beverage.
- Support fellow team members during service.
- Participate in daily preshift meetings.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in full-service restaurant or upscale dining
- Current ServSafe certification
- Calm, clear, and professional communication skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate a physically active service environment.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Compensation: $12.62 / hr + tips
