To ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome to Reyna Hospitality Group, setting the scene for their experience means keeping the restaurant maintained and safe. We are looking for someone who is able to work from 12am until 6am approx. Duties will include keeping all areas of the building clean and tidy as well as preparing for the following day.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cleaning the dining rooms, including all surfaces, furniture and floors.
- Cleaning the kitchen, including floors and certain kitchen equipment.
- Cleaning all washrooms.
- Tour all areas of the building on a regular basis and report irregularities to management.
- Ensure all access to the building is secure.
- Record any unusual occurrences or problems arising to management and take appropriate action.
- Report any faulty equipment to management.
- Ensure all tables and chairs are stored safely in the dining rooms overnight.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests made by management.
- Accept reasonable changes or additions in work hours, which are necessary for the maintenance of uninterrupted service.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as and when required.
Health and Safety:
- Report all potential and real hazards immediately.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals on-site.
- Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire and Emergency procedures.
- Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying building regulations, by strict adherence to existing laws, statues and applicable ordinances, and reporting any possible hazards and conditions to management.
- Have a general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken.
