a.bar is looking for an energetic and personable barback/host to add to our team!
The ideal candidate will be hard working, team-oriented, and posses strong customer service skills. Restaurant and bar experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. Night and weekend availability is a must. This position offers room to grow for those interested in learning about craft cocktails, wine, beer, restaurant service and more.
1 year of prior restaurant experience is preferred.
The current job opening would be for 2-3 shifts per week, with each shift from 4pm to approximately 1:30am. We are looking for somebody who would be able to work shifts as either the host or the barback. Starting pay is $12/hr plus tip out (tip out varies depending on volume, but usually ranges between $60-$130 per night).
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($12.00) plus tips
