Position: Line Cook / Grill Cook (Hot Station)

Description:
Mari Vanna Restaurant is seeking an experienced Line Cook / Grill Cook for the hot station. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a line cook or grill cook in a full-service restaurant

Proven experience working as part of a cohesive, professional team in a well-known restaurant

Deep understanding of grill, sauté, and hot line operations

Knowledge of product handling, storage conditions, shelf life, and rotation principles (FIFO)

Familiarity with NYC Health Department standards and Food Protection Certificate (preferred)

Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistent quality

Strong sense of kitchen organization, cleanliness, and food safety

Understanding of cross-contamination prevention and proper product separation (storage compatibility)
