Welcome to Noroton Yacht Club, a friendly community for sailing enthusiasts. Situated along the picturesque Noroton Bay, our Club is a great location for individuals and families who share a passion for sailing and boating. With spectacular views across the harbor and Long Island Sound, members dine at the Osprey Bistro on the Club's top deck, or the patio aside the beach, all along enjoying time with family and friends. Noroton’s two beaches provide more opportunity for great fun with swimming, social gatherings, and evening cookouts.
Since 1928 Noroton Yacht Club has been a premier sailing club in the Northeast. Our fleets include Sonars, Vipers, Ideal 18s and Melges 15, as well as a Cruising fleet.
As a family-oriented yacht club, our Youth Programs have a strong presence, offering Junior Sailing (age 8-18), Big Boat Racing (age 14-18), Tennis (age 5-18), and Sunbusters (age 4-7). Children build long-standing friendships and solid sailing and tennis skills.
Tennis has been an important part of Noroton since 1930. As a Club favorite, the program offers fun and competitive classes and matches with daily, strong participation in summer. Clinics and lessons are provided for all ages on two Har-Tru courts.
Part of Noroton's fabric is volunteerism and there are plenty opportunities to lend a hand. Whether on Race Committee, Clean-Up Day, or other volunteer activities, being involved is a great way to get to know other members.
