Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Wine Director and GM to educate guests on various wine styles, regions, and pairings, with a focus on enhancing their overall experience.
• Provide personalized wine recommendations based on guests' preferences and menu selections, aiming to create a seamless and delightful dining experience.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to create harmonious food and wine pairings, enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
• Assist with wine inventory and storage, ensuring optimal conditions for each bottle and seamless service delivery.
• Engage with guests to enhance their overall experience and cultivate a loyal customer base, with a focus on anticipating and exceeding their needs.
• Work closely with the rest of the service team to ensure that wine service is seamlessly integrated into the overall dining experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Sommelier or equivalent wine education and training.
• Proven experience in a high-end restaurant or wine bar setting with a strong emphasis on service.
• Extensive knowledge of global wine regions, varietals, and production techniques, combined with a keen understanding of how this knowledge can be used to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for educating others about wine in a service-focused context.
• Exceptional tasting ability and a discerning palate, with a keen eye for detail when it comes to wine service.
• Organized with excellent attention to detail for inventory management, particularly in a service context.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining a service-oriented approach.
