Opened in December 2024, Shy Shy is a west coast–inspired cocktail bar in the heart of Chelsea, created by the team behind Jungle Bird. Our menu celebrates golden-hour martinis and vibrant, coastal flavors, while our atmosphere combines the elegance of a chic cocktail party at sunset. We are dedicated to offering elevated yet approachable hospitality in a lively, stylish setting.
Position Overview
We’re seeking experienced servers to join our team and help create a welcoming, high-energy environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about cocktails and cuisine, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven atmosphere—ideally with experience in New York City’s hospitality scene.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Service – Provide attentive, professional, and friendly service that ensures a seamless guest experience.

Know the Menu – Be confident in our cocktails, wines, spirits, and food offerings to make thoughtful recommendations.

Collaborate as a Team – Work closely with bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Maintain Professional Standards – Keep stations stocked, organized, and polished to uphold our atmosphere.

Handle Transactions – Process orders, payments, and billing with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications

Experience – At least 3 years in a high-volume or cocktail-focused environment; prior New York City experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge – Strong foundation in cocktails, wine, and spirits, with a willingness to keep learning.

Mindset – Positive, team-oriented, detail-driven, and adaptable under pressure.

Communication – Warm guest engagement and clear teamwork.
