Anajak is a small, family owned and operated Thai restaurant in Sherman Oaks currently looking to fill a full-time Server Assistant position.
Old school roots meet new school techniques on a dynamic menu with strong emphasis on an ever-growing wine program. Services are kept upbeat and interesting with a range of dining throughout the week. A rowdy Thai Taco Tuesday and an elevated Omakase menu round out the restaurant's reputation for a variety of dishes and styles with consistently excellent execution, great service, and a notable playlist at all times.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Memorization of menu items and table numbers
* Communication of menu item ingredients to guests when being delivered
* Awareness of allergies and overall food knowledge
* Running food and beverage (as needed) to tables
* Assisting team with setting up restaurant for service
* Polishing plateware, glassware, and silver
* Assisting the rest of FOH staff as needed with add-on orders etc.
* Finish sidework in a timely manner
* Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times
* Communicating effectively with the rest of the team
* Take instruction well and execute directives accurately
An ideal candidate will:
* Have +1 year restaurant experience
* Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Be able to remain calm under pressure
* Be a confident multitasker
* Have a real passion for hospitality, and giving guests a memorable experience
* Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds
* Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required
* Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping
* Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
* Be comfortable working overtime as needed
