Our Midtown location serves locals, tourists, and theatergoers seven days a week — offering everything from award-winning burgers to fresh seafood, steak, and curated wines.
We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused General Manager who thrives in a high-energy, hospitality-driven environment and knows how to lead with both heart and precision.
The Ideal Candidate:

Has 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

Possesses exceptional people skills, creating a positive and professional work culture.

Is a strong communicator with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff toward excellence.

Has a solid foundation in wine and beverage knowledge and can lead pairing suggestions and beverage sales initiatives.

Demonstrates operational excellence — from scheduling, P&L management, and service standards to guest satisfaction and retention.

Leads by example, upholding hospitality, cleanliness, and brand standards at all times.
Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Hire, train, and coach front-of-house staff to uphold Blue Dog’s service philosophy.

Manage inventory, cost controls, and vendor relations.

Collaborate with ownership and culinary leadership to execute promotions and events.

Ensure smooth coordination between FOH and BOH.

Uphold all health, safety, and labor compliance standards.
