New Ridge Brewing Co. is a full-scale brewery and restaurant in the heart of Roxborough, Philadelphia. We feature house made beer, creative cuisine, and local wines and spirits. We provide an approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, and beer-forward style of hospitality, while pushing the envelope of creativity and excellence in our neighborhood.
The support staff is the backbone of the restaurant experience for our guests. They keep the flow of service moving forward by staying engaged with pace of seating, guests, staff, table maintenance, and side work.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Night and weekend availability required. 3-4 shifts a week to start.
- Treat all guests with gracious and welcoming hospitality.
- Develop thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Deliver food to tables, ensuring accuracy and impeccable presentation.
- Clear finished plates and reset tables.
- Support servers and bartenders as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and properly stocked.
- Communicate with kitchen staff about orders, special requests and allergies
- Communicate potential guest conflicts or issues to management.
- Remain polite, consistent, and informed with all guest inquiries.
- Perform daily side work, opening, and closing duties with detail and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Exemplify professionalism on and off the clock while on the premises.
Job Qualifications:
- One year of previous hospitality experience in a high volume environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to multitask
