Job Summary: We are seeking warm, professional, and highly organized Hosts to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a Host, you will create a welcoming and memorable first impression while managing reservations, seating, and the overall flow of the dining experience. Your role is essential in setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a polished, friendly first impression.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using the restaurant’s booking system.
- Organize and maintain an accurate waitlist while communicating wait times to guests.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure a smooth seating process.
- Assist with coat check, special requests, VIP accommodations, and guest inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Uphold all restaurant policies, health, and safety regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
- High School GED required.
- Prior experience as a Host or in a similar front-of-house leadership role preferred.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems (e.g., OpenTable, PLEASE ADD).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A warm, professional, and polished demeanor with a passion for hospitality.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food handler certification is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the restaurant.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
