Press Club is a unique event focused restaurant specializing in corporate functions, private events, and special gatherings. While our daily operations are steady and well paced, our events bring fast paced, high volume service that demands precision, organization and teamwork. Ideal candidate has a fine dining background, strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast paced event focused kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including event execution and daily service
Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency and presentation
Lead, train and motivate kitchen staff to perform at their best during both prep and service
Manage Prep schedules, station organization and event timelines
Monitor inventory, ordering and food cost controls
Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards

Qualifications:

4+ years as a Sous Chef or equivalent experience in a fine dining or high end catering environment
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven atmosphere
Excellent communication and team management skills
Creative, detail oriented and dedicated to guest satisfaction
Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency and professionalism
