929 is a Cocktail + Vinyl Record Bar inspired by Canto-Pop & Mando-Pop, located in Midtown Manhattan, NY.
From craft cocktails and small bites to music and art display, 929’s goal is to create an immersive space for the celebration of Cantonese and Mandarin pop music from the 1980s and beyond. Sipping a cocktail inspired by Chinese ingredients while jamming to music playing on vinyl and browsing the music memorabilia collection in the space is exactly what we would love to see our guests doing. We believe in celebration, introduction, and most importantly, preservation of the pop culture we grew up with.
Candidates interested in serving/bartending are highly preferred, with the potential to receive training in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests in the dining area.
- Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and match the order ticket.
- Assist servers by refilling water, clearing tables, and resetting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service stations and expo areas.
- Support overall guest satisfaction by providing efficient and friendly service.
Requirements:
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays safely.

Salary & Schedule
- $15/hour plus tips
