As our Assistant Store Manager, you will:
Lead and coach the cashiers, delivery staff, and grocery stock team
Ensure exceptional customer service at every interaction
Oversee all deliveries — scheduling, routing, and quality control
Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS reconciliation
Assist with product ordering, vendor relations, and inventory management
Maintain organized displays, stock rotations, and front-of-store merchandising
Handle special requests, customer issues, and daily workflows
Trouble-shoot issues throughout the store
Work closely with the owner/wholesale buyers to decide which new products to carry

What We’re Looking For:
Strong customer-service skills and ability to delight a discerning clientele
Excellent organizational abilities — multitasking, scheduling, tracking
Flexibility in hours: mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
Food / grocery experience is a big plus (fine foods, specialty shops, delis)
Comfort supervising a small team, delegating tasks, and motivating staff
Experience in cash handling, POS systems, and reconciling sales
Basic knowledge or willingness to learn ordering / buying / vendor management
Reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
