Pastry Head Chef – Maxime’s, New York City- $100,000.00

Maxime’s is the newest private member’s club opening from entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhatten, New York City.

We are seeking a talented Pastry Head Chef to join our world-class culinary brigade. With four distinct restaurants, this is an opportunity to work at the very highest level of cuisine.

What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience working in a similar role. 
  • Strong background in fine dining. 
  • A professional and polished approach to leadership in a busy atmosphere.  
  • Strong work ethic and team-centric approach.  
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Well-versed in verbal communication skills. 
  • Team lead with a collaborative approach

What you will be doing: 

  • Leading the pastry team to deliver exceptional dishes and items from our menus using the very best ingredients and demonstrating highly skilled pastry techniques
  •  Training and developing the team to achieve their full potential, using a practical and hands on management style; leading and directing service.
  • Managing the team in all aspects of kitchen management including health and safety requirements and cleanliness standards.
