Prep Cook

Affiliated with STARR Restaurants, Pastis Miami is an expansive 8,000-square-foot restaurant, inclusive of a stunning outdoor space with an enclosed pergola, adorned by black locust, welcomes guests to enjoy exceptional French fare no matter the weather. The interior includes many design elements that the original location is known and loved for, such as a curved zinc bar, white subway tiles, red banquettes, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and mosaic-tiled floors.

We are seeking motivated Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and passionate about food preparation and technique, ensuring each ingredient meets the quality standards of Pastis.

Who we are looking for: 

• 1+ year of experience as a prep cook in a high-volume kitchen
• Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
• Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and direction from chefs with accuracy
• A strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• A collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to learn
