Server Assistant

Musket Room is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a full-time server assistant.  Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in fine dining.  We are looking for people who bring confidence and dynamism to the guest experience, while still maintaining a personable and approachable demeanor.

Server Assistants at The Musket Room are expected to help drive the guest experience, not only for their assigned section, but for the floor as a whole.  We maintain a team atmosphere, with the expectation that all staff take ownership of providing our guests with a unique and memorable visit each and every time.  Server Assistants will have a solid knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu, and be able to confidently converse with guests about them.  Fine dining steps of service should be second nature.

Our team atmosphere also necessitates that candidates for this position be willing to assist all team members in the execution of their tasks during a shift.  They will be willing to jump in and help bus or mise a table, run food, or greet guests at the door.  “That’s not my job” is not an acceptable response at Raf’s.

Hourly wages are at New York State minimum, and server assistants receive a partial share in the shift tip pool for a fully-completed shift.  Sick time, 401K, and insurance plan coverage options are available.
