Job Title: Culinary Administrator

Reports To: Executive Chef
Job Summary:
The Culinary Administrator supports the culinary team by managing administrative tasks essential to the efficient operation of the kitchen. This role works closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day management of labor, cost controls, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling for kitchen staff to optimize labor efficiency
- Manage payroll submissions and track kitchen labor costs
- Monitor and report on food cost and inventory control
- Maintain and update kitchen operations documents and databases
- Assist with purchasing and invoice tracking
- Coordinate training documentation and compliance records
- Provide general administrative support to the culinary leadership team
Requirements:
- Proven administrative experience, preferably in a culinary or hospitality setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- College degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scheduling or payroll software
- Basic understanding of food cost and inventory principles
