Hi-Lawn's 50-foot spherical pop-up bar "Snowglow" at The Dome returns in November, and we are hiring for the season!
On the rooftop at Union Market, the 50-foot spherical dome, transforms into a globe of holiday magic with awe-inspiring animated visuals, spirited cocktails, festive eats, and plenty of holiday cheer.
Heated and designed for the Winter season, Snowlogw returns for a 6-week run from November 15 - January 4.
We are looking for professionals to join the team in the kitchen, providing high-end hospitality for guests while they enjoy this awe-inspiring experience. This is a seasonal position during the time the Snowglow experience will be live.
As a Line Cook, you will lead the culinary operations, ensuring a seamless kitchen workflow, enforcing health and safety standards, and fostering an inspiring team environment. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and execution in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

As a Line Cook, you will lead the culinary operations, ensuring a seamless kitchen workflow, enforcing health and safety standards, and fostering an inspiring team environment. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and execution in a fast-paced, upscale setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen and be able to handle rigors of busy services while also maintaining quality and consistency of dishes
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Support other areas of the kitchen as needed, and be able and willing to assist teammates in the restaurant as needed, including handling duties of other stations
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized workstation during each shift, while observing internal and regulatory (health, fire department, etc.) guidelines at all times
- Prepare station for service (setup, food prep)
- Overseeing that line cooks prep, clean, and stock stations pre- and post-service
- Proper maintenance of wok
- Minimize waste of product
- Rotates product according to “First In, First Out”
- Clean work area, equipment, utensils, and dishes
- Assist in training new personnel in proper procedures and guidelines
Requirements include:
- At least 1 year of relevant restaurant experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills
- Highly organized, productive, and able to work meticulously in a high-intensity kitchen/work environment
- Energetic and friendly personality, with strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and support colleagues regardless of role
Physical demands include:
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat and reach shoulder level
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures
- Must be able to life/carry up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $23.00)
