Executive Chef- 

We are seeking a highly accomplished Executive Chef to oversee, manage, and control all culinary operations during a significant transition.

The ideal candidate possesses the expertise to train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment with the management team, construction, and ownership partners. This collaboration will be crucial in optimizing kitchen flow, sourcing equipment, and implementing the final concept during the remodeling and launch of the restaurant.

This is an exceptional opportunity to customize the menu and demonstrate your culinary prowess while also bringing innovative concepts to the forefront.

Who You Are-

  • A culinary leader with 7+ years in progressive kitchen management roles in well-rated restaurants and/or boutique hotels 
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Confident and collected both in the kitchen and on the expo line during high-volume service
  • Skilled in building, mentoring, and managing the kitchen team
  • A graduate of a culinary school or university (preferred)
  • Serve Safe Certification preferred

Responsibilities-

  • Take full ownership of the culinary staff—a team that will likely be growing and evolving during this transition. This includes interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Oversee, monitor and ensure effective and efficient BOH operations including monitoring and ensuring consistent purchasing standards and inventory, and tracking and controlling food costs
  • Foster a professional, collaborative, and disciplined kitchen culture dedicated to excellence in a high-pressure, event-driven environment
  • Research, develop and execute seasonal menus and new menu items as directed in partnership with divisional leaders 
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with the management team

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $85,000.00)
