Airy neighborhood, dohō is a New American-style bistro highlighting bold flavors rooted in Latin American and East Asian cuisines, elevated with European influences and modern technique. Position: Bartender
This is a position for someone who values team success over personal ego, and who understands that flexibility, communication, and consistency are what great service is built on.
You may work as a Server or Bartender roles on a rotating basis, based on experience and depending on the needs of the evening, bartending one night, running a dining room section the next while supporting your teammates and the guest experience without missing a beat.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve our community at the highest level in an approachable yet high touch dining environment
- Create exceptional craft cocktails and pour highly curated wine, craft beer and spirits.
- Deliver emotionally intelligent, high-touch service at the bar.
- Upsell with subtlety and care; not pressure
- Help maintain pristine mise en place
- Lead by example in teamwork, timing, polish, and guest focus
You Might Be a Fit If You:
- Have 3+ years of experience in fine dining and/or cocktail bars
- Feel equally confident behind the bar and on the floor.
- Thrive in a team-first environment.
- Communicate clearly, calmly, and kindly, even when it’s busy
- Can memorize menu details, wine pairings, and craft cocktail recipes quickly.
- Want to build a restaurant worthy of real recognition together
Position Details:
- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday evenings (3:00PM–close)
- Pay: hourly base + tips (average earnings highly competitive)
- Team Size: Small, tight, high-performing: 2 servers, 1 bartender, 1-2 Support Staff Per Night based on volume.
- Training: Full onboarding, tastings, and menu immersion provided
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) plus tips
