Ambrosia Hollywood is an upcoming fine dining restaurant located on Sunset Boulevard, next to the legendary Guitar Center. Our concept celebrates the artistry of Mediterranean cuisine reimagined through a modern Californian lens — refined, seasonal, and expressive.

We are assembling an exceptional team guided by discipline, creativity, and integrity — the foundation of every Michelin-caliber kitchen.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our opening team. The ideal candidate embodies precision, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. You will work hand-in-hand with the Executive Chef to execute an elegant and modern tasting-style menu, ensuring every detail meets the standards of a world-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

    •    Oversee and support the daily culinary operations, ensuring flawless execution and consistency.

    •    Assist the Executive Chef with menu creation, tasting development, and seasonal innovation.

    •    Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of respect, focus, and continuous improvement.

    •    Maintain the highest levels of organization, cleanliness, and food safety.

    •    Monitor inventory, cost control, and product quality.

    •    Uphold the philosophy and standards that define fine dining excellence.

Requirements

    •    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Michelin-starred or equivalent fine dining restaurants.

    •    Profound understanding of modern Mediterranean techniques and flavor profiles.

    •    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    •    Capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining precision and composure.

    •    Legal authorization to work in the United States.
